My name is Ram Kumar, I am 24 year of age and here is my story.

For the past nearly ten years i have been staying away from home for my education. My passion for photography obligated me to explore the techniques of photography, hence i did my One-year PG course in professional photography.

During the past one year, i have classified my work into commercial work and also personal projects.

Some of my work include some really memorable experiences. One of them, is a photoshoot with Sir Ben Kingsley in December of 2009 at the Taj Mahal. This experience was quite accelerating and required me to prepare ahead of time and also improvise a lot in location. After the photoshoot he has given me rights for five photos which he was happy with.

I have also been working on photoshoots in Delhi, Chennai and Kerala. Projects like these in different places require me to organize studios and models also food, studio equipment transportation, which was also a learning experience.

I have also been commissioned for designing and photographing a cookbook of 150 pages with some really amazing recipes. (I was involved in the project by doing photography for the book and also page layout)

I am a part-time graphic-designer, I make websites and involve myself in writing articles for magazines complimenting them with my own photos.

My Style of photography at the moment is something that i'm still working on.. But i would say, i do a lot of photos in its natural setting, using studio lights if required. I know my photos can go the distance, if i find my unique style.
